Sian and her horse Aurora Supreme Champions at the MAGPAS Horse Show!
This weekend, our amazing shop assistant (and all-round superstar!) Sian took her beautiful horse Aurora to the MAGPAS Charity Horse Show in Wisbech. The show was held in support of the Air Ambulance, raising vital funds for this life-saving service – and it turned out to be an unforgettable day for both Sian and Aurora.
In true dedicated fashion, Sian was up before dawn, prepping Aurora to perfection. From plaiting to whitening, she had Aurora gleaming and ring-ready by the time they set off, trailer packed, for their early start to the Fens. They arrived bright and early at 7:30am, ready for a full day of showing – and what a day it turned out to be! Sian said she wouldn’t be without her Absorbine ShowSheen to keep Aurora gleaming and Re-Covery Mash to keep her hydrated!
Sian entered several in-hand classes, with fantastic results:
- 🥉 Best Condition – 3rd place
- 🥇 Non-Coloureds – 1st place
- 🥈 Mares – 2nd place
- 🥉 Home Produced – 3rd place
- 🥇 Concours d’Elegance – 1st place
Thanks to their wins, Sian and Aurora qualified for the Grassroots Championship – a prestigious accolade for non-professional riders and horses – where they were awarded Reserve Champion. That alone is an incredible achievement, but their day wasn’t done yet…
They were then invited to compete in the Supreme Championship, the highlight of the show – and guess what? They won! That’s right – Sian and Aurora were crowned Grassroots SUPREME CHAMPION, the overall champions of the entire show! 🎉🐴👑
We are unbelievably proud of Sian and Aurora. Their dedication, hard work, and bond truly shone through, and they absolutely deserved this amazing result. What a wonderful representation of the spirit of grassroots equestrianism – and all in support of such an important cause.
