Selling your gun should be straightforward \u2014 and with us, it is. At Forelock & Load, we manage every step of the process for you, from the initial conversation right through to final payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s how it works:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you bring your gun in, we\u2019ll assess its condition, age, and type to provide a fair and realistic market valuation. Our goal is to price it competitively \u2014 high enough to reflect its value, but low enough to attract genuine buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we are unable to assess your gun immediately, we will book it in and contact you shortly after with a valuation via phone and followed up on email. Once you’re happy to proceed, we will send you our agreement of sale for you to review and sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We take care of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Advertising your gun<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Responding to enquiries<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Managing the sale and viewings<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Transferring ownership<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Processing payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Commission & Fees:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • We charge a 15% commission<\/strong> on all guns sold for over \u00a3200<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • For guns valued under \u00a3200<\/strong>, a flat fee of \u00a325<\/strong> applies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Once your gun is sold, the new owner has a 14 day return window to ensure the fit and suitability. After this period and the sale is finalised, your payment is processed directly to the bank account provided in your agreement of sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Our aim is to make the process as smooth, transparent, and stress-free as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
