Spring has eventually sprung, and it\u2019s been all systems go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After what felt like an eternity of winter, it\u2019s so refreshing to finally be witnessing some drier weather and be in the summer routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The older horses haven\u2019t been up to much- in February we attended Northallerton’s Area Festival with Dram to only go and get placed third in a huge class of 30! We did have all our fingers crossed for a wildcard, but it wasn\u2019t to be. This was his third time finishing third at an Area Festival so I\u2019m hoping one day will be our time to qualify!

Elle on the other hand is in her 9th month of pregnancy and currently looks like a whale- It\u2019s amazing seeing the difference in her, we\u2019ve had a few moments of stress along the way and I\u2019m now just counting down in her last trimester and I cannot wait to see what she has been cooking all this time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The youngsters have been coming through and through. I\u2019ve had the two 5yos (Erin and May) in more or less full work and recently have just been bringing the 4yo Seren into work too. They have all been getting out and seeing the world with dressage lessons, unaffiliated dressage and jumping hires, and it\u2019s these moments that make it so special, looking back from the first time you sat on them to showing them the world. Unfortunately I\u2019m now in the situation of having too many youngsters to juggle at any one time and it\u2019s not fair on them as I\u2019m unable to do all of them justice and I\u2019m drastically needing to cut down on numbers so my brain has been rather frazzled having a play with them all to work out timescales and which ones to keep\/sell etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month we have finally made it back out to BD with Dram again, in desperate need of getting our qualifying scores for the Summer Area Festivals which in typical fashion I have left to do in the last four weeks. However we kicked our scores off on a high with three qualifying scores, winning all our sections and even winning our first ever attempt to music overall on 70%!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
