In Store Policy for all items bought from Forelock and Load IP29-5AX
If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply show your receipt and return the item to us in its original condition within 7 days for an exchange or store credit/voucher.
Items that are discounted or special orders are non-returnable.
Faulty items may be returned for a full refund, exchange or store credit. Faulty items may need to be returned to the supplier for confirmation of the fault prior to an issue of refund.
Please note that general wear and tear will be taken in to account when deciding if the item is faulty. All returned items, excluding faulty should be unused and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed labels and documentation.
We will not be able to process an exchange or refund without the original receipt.
Returns & Replacements
We at Forelock and Load Ltd pride ourselves on the quality of our service and always endeavour to meet the high standards we feel our customers deserve and expect. As such, the items you choose should arrive in the best possible condition. Should this not be the case, or if you are not 100% happy with your purchase, then we offer the following terms and conditions for your satisfaction:
- If your item has been lost or damaged in transit, has arrived faulty, or is incorrect, then please call us immediately (or within 48 hours of receipt) on 01284 811032. We will then arrange the best course of action to take. In all the above instances any costs incurred in returning items will be fully reimbursed.
- If your Item has developed a fault then please contact us with your order number to hand. We can then discuss the preferred course of action that you would like us to take.
- We do ask that you please return the item - unused and in its original packaging - within 14 days of receipt. We recommend that you use a signed for service, via a reputable courier, such as Royal Mail for smaller items and Parcel Force for larger items, with adequate insurance to cover the value of the item.
Under The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel within 14 days following receipt of all your goods.
- To facilitate a speedy refund, please include a copy of your receipt and state the reason for the return with your full details. Our RETURNS ADDRESS is Forelock and Load Returns, Church Road, Barrow, Bury St. Edmund's, Suffolk, IP29 5AX.
Please note that we are unable to accept returns of items that are deemed as gifts that have a security tag that has been broken such as a DVD.
Items on SALE are non-returnable.

Black Friday Deals
Black Friday deals exclude all secondhand goods, guns, ammunition (both rifle and shotgun), all Tally HO Polo equipment, feed, bedding, already discounted goods, customised/bespoke goods and hire items.
Black Friday purchases can be returned for a replacement or exchange. You will only receive a refund if the item is faulty. (Please refer to our faulty goods terms and conditions within this page).
We at Forelock and Load are thrilled that we give our customers the chance to try before they buy on some of the high-end equestrian goods that we offer.
All HIRE items must be returned in a clean state as they would have been sent out, if they are sent back dirty a £10 charge will be added to your invoice.
Any item returning later than the 14 day hire period as set out will not be entitled to a refund.
Any item which has not been returned back in the condition it was sent out in will not be refunded. Please do not punch holes or try to modify any of the leather goods in any way as this will void your refund.
We strongly advise you use a courier service to return the HIRE items to ourselves with the relevant insurance taken out to cover the item should it go missing. We are not responsible for any hire items which do not make it back to us outside of the hire terms. Please note that discount codes cannot be used against hire but will be honoured if you purchase the item you're hiring.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions
Payment for all orders should be made with a payment card, we accept all major debit and credit cards and we also accept PayPal payments.
Prices from time to time may change however we will honour the prices at the time of an order being given even if they subsequently increase prior to shipping.
Promotions are found on our web site by clicking on the sale items tab on the main screen and from time to time we will e-mail all of our customers to let them know additional items have been added into the sale items section.
You can view your order history by logging into your account - located at the top of the screen.
Updating Account Information
Once you are logged into your account on our website, you are able to manage all your account information, including shipping addresses.
