Customising your Stübben Bridle.
You can fully customise your Stübben bridle through Forelock and Load, we are thrilled to be supporting this new initiative from innovate saddle and bridle makers Stübben. Whether it is the Switch, Freedom, Pro Jump check it out below and have a play with the fabulous configurator. The choices really are endless!
1. Pick You Bridle
- Choose The Bridle: Stubben offer many different types of bridles to suit your horse’s requirements. From the Stubben Freedom Bridle to the Pro Jump Tandem Noseband Bridle, there is something for everyone. Don’t forget, this also includes the Magic Tack bridles as well.
2. Choose the Leather Colour
- Base Leather: Select the main leather colour you require from the drop-down menu. You might want to select the colour that goes with your saddle and you can also match the colour to your horse’s coat.
- Black
- Tobacco
- Ebony
- Redwood
3. Leather Padding
- Select the colour you would like for the padding to accent the leather: All Stubben bridles are beautifully padded around the headpiece and the noseband. This increases the comfort for the horse. You can really let your imagination run wild here with a choice of 16 colours, ranging from tonal to light blue, pinks and teal!
4. Noseband Customisation
- Select the Noseband Leather: You can customise the main piece of noseband leather and there is a lot of choice! From crocodile embossed leather, pyramids, cubes, to camo, reds and blues. There are 26 options to choose from!
5. Browband Customisation
- Select the Browband Leather: To keep this matching the noseband, you have the same choices as above. Or you can unleash your inner artistic flare and go for something different. Many riders like to add a touch of glamour with Swarovski crystals, beading, or metal accents on the browband which can be achieved with the Magic Tack option.
- Shape: Some prefer a traditional straight browband, while others go for a curved or anatomical shape to suit their horse’s head.
- If you have chosen a Magic Tack bridle: You will notice that you cannot change the leather on this style. Remember though, there are heaps of fabulous styles of Magic Tack browbands, available through Forelock and Load if you want to change it up.
6. Piping
- Select the Piping Leather: The piping leather really does give a touch of elegance to the bridle. The fine piping really sets the noseband off and you could contrast or keep it the same.
7. Stitching
- Coloured Stitching: The detailed stitching on the browband, headpiece and noseband can be customised to your requirements. This really offers a point of difference to the bridle and gives a very modern look.
- Contrasting or Matching Stitching: You can opt for contrasting stitching to add a pop of colour or matching stitching for a more subtle look.
8. Fittings and Hardware
- Metal Finishes: The buckles and rings can be customised in different colours, such as stainless steel or graphite.
- Slide & Lock: Some custom bridles offer Slide & Lock for added convenience during tack changes and you can find more details on these here.
