How it works….
You are welcome to contact us for a chat prior to hiring the product you require if you’re a little bit unsure. We can guide you to the correct product or reassure you if you’re not 100% sure. Alternatively just head straight to the Hire Section on our website and we will dispatch straightaway.
We charge the full amount for the hire item, this is purely because we do not hold any customer bank or card details in store to take a retrospective payment should the product not be returned. Our hire period is for 21 days from date of dispatch. If you have a training session or competition or you just haven’t made your mind up, please email info@forelockandload.com or call 01284 811032 and we will accommodate you as best as we can.
If you hire an item and you haven’t got the size quite right send back the one you have and pay the additional postage of £5 and we will get the size you require back to you within 24 hours (excluding weekends).
The majority of the hire bits are new when they go out. Should you receive a used bit and your horse loves it and we haven’t got exactly what you require in stock, don’t panic! We will let you keep the hire bit until the new one arrives at no extra cost.
If you return your hire product as you require a different colour, need additional bling or due to it not being quite right please include your returns paperwork filled in with the action you require us to take. Please send the item tracked and signed for, with the relevant insurance. We are not responsible for any hire item that doesn’t arrive back to Forelock and Load.
All items are sent out having been cleaned with Virkon disinfectant. However we will not be held responsible for any disease transfer, it is your responsibility to ensure you maintain good hygiene control. For this reason we do not hire any sheepskin products.
If an item is returned back dirty you will be charged a £10 cleaning fee.
Any item that has been changed through modification is not entitled to a refund. If flash straps, loops, keepers, curb chains and back straps are not returned these will be charged according to what the current RRP is for that particular item. Any non-metal bit that is chewed or leather work that is damaged will again leave the product non returnable for a refund.
