Shop Manager Matt Harwood
We thought it would be fun to introduce you to our team! Kicking off the series, we’re chatting with our shop manager, Matt Harwood. Many of you will recognise Matt from his time in the store. He has been with us for over five years, and his sharp sense of humour always keeps things lively around here!
What is your favourite and least favourite food?
“My favourite is pizza with a meat topping of some sort. As for least favourite, I’m not a fan of mushrooms!”
What is your favourite song?
“Tonight, Tonight” by the Smashing Pumpkins – it’s a classic!
If you were starring in a film, who would you pick to play you and why?
“John Candy – probably because of his incredible sense of humour!”
What are your hobbies outside of work?
“I really enjoy walking and hiking and try to get to the Lake District as often as time allows/”
What is the best thing about working for F&L?
“Definitely being part of a great team.”
What is your favourite colour?
“Blue.”
Which sports person do you admire most and why?
“Michael Jordan – his dedication and skill are unmatched.”
If you could pick any horse to ride, which one would you choose and why? Or what is your dream car?
“I’d pick the Williams FW14B – it’s a true icon in motorsport.”
Where is your dream holiday destination?
“Anywhere that doesn’t have an end!”
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
“I’d be a panda – they always seem to be having a great time!”

“The YETI Loadout Bucket – it’s incredibly durable and practical.”
