At Forelock & Load, we love introducing our fantastic team to our customers. This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Sian! From her love of horses to her favourite Forelock & Load products, here’s a chance to get to know her better.
A Love for Good Food & Music
Sian is a big fan of Carbonara—a classic comfort dish. While she enjoys a wide range of foods, she steers clear of anything spicy! When it comes to music, her favourite song is “Stick Season” by Noah Kahan, a song that perfectly matches her laid-back and outdoorsy personality.
Who Would Play Sian in a Movie?
If Sian were to star in a film, she’d want Jennifer Lawrence to play her. Not only does she admire Jennifer’s acting skills, but she also loves her sense of humour and down-to-earth attitude.
Life Outside of Forelock & Load
When she’s not helping customers, Sian spends her time riding her horse, Aurora (when Aurora is in the mood!) and caring for her other horse, Lennie, who she affectionately refers to as a “rather expensive field ornament.” She also enjoys outdoor adventures with her two Labradors Bumble and Amber.

For Sian, the best part of working at Forelock and Load is the opportunity to interact with customers and meet new people. She enjoys the variety that comes with the job, as no two days are ever the same!

- Most Admired Sportsperson: Has to be Rachael Blackmore – an inspiring jockey who has broken barriers in a male-dominated industry and proving that hard work does pay off. I also believe Rachael has inspired many women that it is possible to have a career into horse racing.
- Dream Horse to Ride: Secretariat – not to race ride, but to experience the thrill of riding such a legendary horse.
- Dream Holiday: A horseback safari in Africa, an experience that would be truly exceptional and memorable.
- If I was an Animal: I would be a cat – because they live a laid-back life, and I love my sleep!
