Q & A with Keira Parsons

Many of you will know Keira via her social media KP_Ponies. Keira is the youngest member of our little team and kindly answered our Q&A!

Do you have anything lucky that you will not be without on a competition day?
My Ariat socks and Ariat Palisade riding boots!
What is your favourite and least favourite food?
I love spaghetti but absolutely hate Chilli Con Carne!
What is your favourite song?
Hall of Fame (off to Google this one!!).
If you were starring in a film, who would you pick to play you and why?
I would pick my friend Jas as she knows me really well and also rides.
What is your least favourite horsey job?
Mucking out!!
Do you have a winter timesaving tip you can share with us?
I do all my jobs in the morning so I can fit in riding after school.
Who do you use as your trainer?
I use Lynn who lives locally to us. She helps me on the flat and jumping.
What is the one piece of horsey kit you cannot be without?
I can’t narrow this down to one so there are a few….. Eskadron saddle cloths, Bombers Bits, my Samshield hat and Ariat clothing!
What is your favourite colour?
Purple.
Which sportsperson (from any sphere) do you admire most and why?
Caroline Powell, she is so inspiring and an incredible horsewoman. She is so talented and successful and is amazing with her horses.
If you could pick any horse (not one of your own) to do one competition on, which one and why?
It would have to be Lenamore to event. He looks phenomenal and has an incredible record.
Where is your dream holiday?
Ireland.
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
Brimble (our dog) as he is so cute and fluffy and doesn’t have to go to school.
