We have run a tried and tested with the Majyk Equipe XC Boots
We feel it’s important that we know as much as possible about the products we sell and how they perform and it is great to have local riders who are happy to give us valuable feedback.
Charlotte Cutler who has the ride on Kirstie’s horse Daisy this year took her cross country schooling and was thrilled with how the boots performed. Daisy is American Paint x Thoroughbred and is 15.1hh. She has quite short cannon’s so can be difficult to fit xc boots to and the last thing we want is a boot nipping or catching her just below the knee.
Daisy wears the Majyk Equipe XC boots in small and medium over reach boots as seen in the below photo.

Charlotte commented on the fit primarily, the boots envelope the leg but they are not bulky and offer fantastic protection and support. They are very lightweight and breathable and will not hold any water. To touch the boots are very flexible and there isn’t a solid strike guard that you can feel (we will come to that in a second) which is great as it allows the horse’s tendon to flex and do it’s job without any hindrance.
The technology within the boots comes from the ARTi Lage – this is unique to Majyk Equipe products. The ARTi Lage has the ability to change its molecular state under impact. So to touch the boot is super flexible but as soon as the horse needs the protection and should it knock its leg or bang a fence the molecules harden to dispel the impact. It really is quite incredible!
The Over Reach Boots are designed not to spin and didn’t move whilst Charlotte was out schooling. She commented on how protected the bulbs of the heel were without the back of the over reach boot being too long which is always a worry.
